The first 15 years of my career were spent within operational roles where I was able to develop some great relationships and create an effective and reliable network of contacts.  When the opportunity to move into Sales presented itself one of my concerns was that my network although established, was not large enough to support the change.  It seemed like a daunting and arduous task initially but one of the first avenues I explored was attending the TTC events.  The number of attendees at the events, the relaxed and social environment made it possible for me not only to meet many industry contacts but to have some fun while doing it!
